DMCA & Copyright Policy
How Templ8 handles copyright concerns and takedown requests.
Last updated: March 14, 2026
Overview
Templ8.email provides an email template archive that displays publicly sent marketing emails for design inspiration and research purposes. We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent EU/international copyright frameworks. If you believe content on our platform infringes your rights, we provide a clear process for requesting removal.
How Our Archive Works
Templ8's Explore archive collects and displays publicly sent marketing emails and newsletters. These are shown purely for design inspiration and educational research — similar to how web archives preserve publicly accessible web pages.
- Templates are displayed with attribution to the original brand/sender where known.
- Images in copied templates are automatically watermarked and replaced to prevent direct reuse of brand assets.
- Archive templates are for design layout inspiration only — they are not intended for redistribution or impersonation.
Filing a Copyright Takedown Notice

- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Templ8 reserves the right to terminate any account at any time if, in our sole discretion, the user has repeatedly infringed the copyrights of others.
