1. Microsoft launches Copilot Cowork, an enterprise AI agent built on Anthropic's technology: Built in close collaboration with Anthropic, Copilot Cowork brings Claude Cowork's multi-step task execution into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including enterprise security, governance, and compliance. When users hand off a request, Cowork turns it into a plan and executes it across Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, while staying grounded in Microsoft's Work IQ intelligence layer that draws on emails, files, meetings, and chats. It’s currently in a limited research preview, with broader access coming to the Frontier program later this month. Watch Copilot Cowork in action or learn four ways you can use it.

2. OpenAI acquires Promptfoo, an open-source AI security testing startup used by over 25% of the Fortune 500: OpenAI announced the acquisition of Promptfoo, an AI security platform that helps enterprises identify and remediate vulnerabilities in AI systems during development. Once the deal closes, Promptfoo's capabilities will be integrated natively into OpenAI Frontier, the company's enterprise agent platform, giving customers built-in security testing, evaluation workflows, and compliance reporting for AI coworkers. OpenAI says the open-source project will continue under its current license alongside the enterprise integration.

3. Anthropic sues the Trump administration over Pentagon supply chain risk designation, calling it "unprecedented and unlawful": Anthropic filed two federal lawsuits on Monday seeking to overturn the Pentagon’s decision to label it a supply chain risk, a designation historically reserved for foreign adversaries. Anthropic argues the designation violates its First Amendment rights and that, while the government doesn’t have to agree with its view, it cannot employ the power of the state to punish Anthropic’s expression.

FROM THE FRONTIER

The pro-human movement is growing — and it’s creating some unlikely allies

Made with Midjourney

Drawing the line. A broad group of influential leaders just signed the Pro-Human AI Declaration — a new set of principles arguing that AI development should serve humanity, not replace it. It’s the latest addition to a growing bipartisan movement that’s uniting some very unlikely voices.

Protecting against AI. The declaration argues for five pillars: keeping humans in control, preventing AI monopolies, protecting the human experience, human agency and liberty, and holding companies accountable for their tech. The signatory list is arguably more notable than the document itself — uniting former Trump advisor Steve Bannon, former Biden advisor Susan Rice, billionaire Richard Branson, Nobel Prize-winning economist Daron Acemoglu, and many more.

The AI regulatory wave. The Pro-Human Declaration isn’t the only pro-human advocacy group. Humans First is running a national town hall tour across Florida, Georgia, Texas, and the Northeast. The Alliance for Secure AI is tracking AI-related job loss and pushing for AI guardrails on Capitol Hill. And last fall, 10 major foundations launched Humanity AI — a $500M initiative to fund organizations that are shaping AI for people, not just profit.

Forming the future. AI is rapidly seeping into our workplace, entertainment industry, and defense systems. Yet it still operates with few meaningful guardrails, outside of what companies voluntarily impose. The pro-human movement is rushing to change that — before the window to shape AI’s trajectory closes.

Resume ATS Checker

Prompt: You are an expert career coach and resume writer specializing in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) optimization. You have a deep understanding of how ATS algorithms parse resumes and identify qualified candidates. Your goal is to provide actionable feedback on a resume to maximize its chances of passing through an ATS and being reviewed by a human recruiter.

Task: Analyze the provided resume text and identify areas that need improvement for ATS compatibility. Provide specific recommendations for optimization, focusing on keyword usage, formatting, and content clarity.

Input Resume Text: [Paste Resume Text Here]

Output Structure:

I. Overall ATS Compatibility Assessment: (Briefly state the overall compatibility level - e.g., "Low", "Medium", "High" - and a one-sentence summary of the main issues or strengths.)

II. Keyword Optimization:
A. Missing Keywords: (List 5-10 relevant keywords that are missing from the resume, based on common job descriptions for [Target Job Title] roles.)
B. Keyword Density: (Analyze the keyword density of the resume and suggest improvements. Indicate which keywords are overused or underused.)
C. Keyword Placement: (Assess where keywords are placed and recommend optimal locations, such as the skills section, job descriptions, and summary.)

III. Formatting Analysis:
A. File Format: (Specify the ideal file format for ATS compatibility (e.g., .docx, .pdf) and note if the current format is acceptable.)
B. Font and Styling: (Analyze the fonts, font sizes, bolding, and other styling elements. Recommend changes to ensure the resume is easily readable by an ATS. Avoid tables, images, or unusual formatting.)
C. Section Headings: (Review the section headings and suggest standard, ATS-friendly alternatives (e.g., "Professional Experience" instead of "Work History").)
D. Lists and Bullets: (Check for proper use of bullet points and lists. Ensure they are simple and consistently formatted.)

IV. Content Clarity and Readability:
A. Jargon and Acronyms: (Identify any industry jargon or acronyms that may not be recognized by an ATS. Suggest spelling them out or using more common terms.)
B. Action Verbs: (Evaluate the use of action verbs in job descriptions and suggest stronger, more impactful alternatives.)
C. Quantifiable Results: (Recommend adding quantifiable results (e.g., "Increased sales by 20%") to demonstrate achievements and impact.)
D. Dates and Employment Gaps: (Check for clear and consistent date formatting. Advise on how to address any significant employment gaps.)

V. Additional Recommendations: (Provide any other recommendations for improving the resume's ATS compatibility, such as removing headers/footers or simplifying contact information.)
