| What's "a day in the life" like for you at Hampden?
Day-to-day I manage online order fulfillment and customer communication. I also support website merchandising by organizing product assortments and new arrivals, and help with visual merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations to keep everything running smoothly.
What’s something people might not realize goes into operations and fulfillment?
People often don’t realize how much coordination and attention to detail there is. Operations and fulfillment involves organizing inventory, checking product accuracy and condition, managing timing, coordinating across teams, and making sure everything is presented and delivered to a high standard. A lot of planning and communication happens behind the scenes to keep both the store and online experience seamless.
What drew you to Hampden, or the fashion/retail world in general?
Fashion and retail is such an inspiring industry--it blends creativity, strategy, and constant innovation. I love how product, presentation, and customer experience all come together to create something meaningful. It also feels rewarding to play even a small role in helping people feel confident and excited about what they’re wearing. Working at Hampden drew me in because of its values. Even from a distance, you can tell the team operates like a family, and that culture comes through in the way customers are welcomed and cared for. That sense of community and attention to detail really stood out to me.
