You can feel a hard session. You can't feel whether you're fully recovered from it.
That's what health tech is for.
Sleep, resting heart rate, and readiness are all measurable now. For qualified customers, the gear that measures them may be HSA/FSA eligible with a letter of medical necessity.

Why It Matters Now
Late August is the back end of a training block. Marathon season is close, the long rides are getting longer, and the first cool mornings make people add mileage faster than they planned to.
The injuries that end a fall season are rarely dramatic. They are load added faster than the body absorbed it, and the signal is usually sitting there days earlier in resting heart rate, in sleep, and in how the first ten minutes of a warm up feel.

What A Tracker Is Actually For
A tracker is not just a scoreboard for your sessions. Its real job is to help separate tired from overreached, which is the difference between a strong October and six weeks off. Resting heart rate, sleep, heart rate variability, and training load are the numbers most of these devices are built around.
The other half is what you do with the answer. A readiness score that says back off is only useful if there is something to do instead of the hard session. Mobility work and bodyweight strength happily fill that slot.
Eligibility does not follow the category. It comes down to whether the purchase treats, mitigates, or prevents a diagnosed condition, and whether an independent licensed practitioner documents that connection. Tracking hardware and strength equipment both sit in that territory regularly.

Sleep, Measured
The night before is the first input of the next day, so it gets tracked with a ring rather than guessed at.
Cold, Then TRX
A cold plunge of six to twelve minutes, then a warm up on the TRX Suspension Trainer. Ten to fifteen minutes of stretching, then functional strength with YBells, bands, kettlebells and slam balls.
Eat Clean, Then Heat
Natural foods only. Nothing fried, no additives, heavy on protein, and eating stops at 7pm. The day closes with sauna cycles of fifteen to twenty minutes and a dip in the pool to cool down in between.
