A EVENING OF CULINARY EXCELLENCE

An evening for the very best in Australian hospitality.

Held at Olympus Dining in Sydney on August 17, the Annual Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year Awards honoured the talent defining Australian hospitality  - with the night's highest accolade going to Zareh in Melbourne.

Wedgwood was proud to set every table for the occasion alongside the trophies, and prouder still to see our craft in such extraordinary company.

AN EVENING WITH GIO GOLD

The table top for the evening was adorned in Gio Gold. Fine bone china in a clean, contemporary shape, detailed with an intricate hexagonal honeycomb motif and finished with a lustrous 22-carat gold rim.

Each piece carrying through the evening from entree to dessert. 

A WEDGWOOD PIECE TO CHERISH

Every winner walked away with a piece of Wedgwood in the form of a custom trophy.

2026 Restaurant of the Year winners were awarded with Gio in Blue pinstripe and Gio Gold, its honeycomb geometry rimmed in 22-carat gold. A piece worthy of the accolade for culinary excellence.
